The Swedish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with our Socio Amigo International WoMenX in Business for Ethical AI (IWIB4AI) and the law firm Eversheds-Sutherland, invites you to a Power Breakfast to learn insights about the negotiations around The EU AI Act, with a keynote speaker who took part of The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the Europen Union 2023.

What will you learn? The presentation will address the following:

  1. What has been achieved so far in the agreed text for The EU AI Act?
  2. The sandbox on AI that is being implemented in Spain.
  3. Key initiatives in the field of AI carried out in Spain.

Keynote Speaker
Alberto Gago Fernandez, former Member of Cabinet of the Secretary of State of Digital and AI.  Specialized in European Affairs and Data Economy. Mr. Gago Fernandez is responsible for the digital policy in the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU, for the competencies of the Secretary of State. He is also an OECD Delegate and Presidency Board Member of ESNA.

Moderator
Vicente Arias, Partner in the IP, Data Protection, Media and Entertainment department at the Madrid office of Eversheds Sutherland, widely known in the entertainment industry (working for clients such as Warner Music, EMI Music Publishing, Sony ATV and Warner Home Video) and academically as the author of numerous books and papers on legal subjects.
